Two people were also injured during the incident, which took place in Turbat town of Balochistan on Wednesday, Pakistani officials told a Press TV correspondent.
Security forces cordoned off the area following the attack and transferred the wounded to a local hospital.
Over 35,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives in bombings and other militant attacks since 2001 when Pakistan entered an alliance with the United States on the so-called “war against terrorism,” according to local media.
Since late 2009, there has been a surge in militant attacks in Pakistan.
Thousands more have been displaced by the wave of violence and militancy sweeping across the country.
