The policemen were guarding a railway track on the outskirts of Quetta on Saturday when they came under attack from gunmen riding a motorbike.
The attackers managed to escape from the scene. The bodies of the slain policemen have been transferred to a local hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched search operations in the area.
No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
On Thursday, 14 people were killed after a bomb, planted outside a seminary, went off in Quetta.
