FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda On Thursday, in a symbolic move, the 300 lawmakers elected in May 6th elections, were sworn in for only one day.
Inauguration of the one-day parliament was followed by appointment of a caretaker government, led by a senior judge.
The caretaker government has no power to make binding decisions and is only meant to lead the debt-laden south European country through the upcoming elections, planned to be held on June 17th.
The one-day old parliament was result of the June 6th inconclusive elections in which most of the Greeks voted against the tough austerity measures and unbearable spending cuts accepted by the former Greek government to overcome the severe debt crisis of the cash-stripped nation.
The political confusion is concerned to further endanger the country’s critical position within the Euro bloc and also to jeopardize the next EU bailouts.
Greece has been without a government since May 6th elections as none of the parties gained a majority in the parliament to form a government and even attempts to form a coalition government failed.
The country has been the epicenter of the euro zone debt crisis and is experiencing its fifth year of recession. One fifth of Greek workers are unemployed, banks have become shaky, and pensions and salaries have been slashed by up to 40 percent.
