Would you give the shirt of your back to a homeless man that you never seen before? Well that’s what a 21 year old man has done in NYC last week. The New York Daily News reports the viral video below was posted by Lazaro Nolasco on Facebook and has received just over 12 million views. The 21-year-old posted the video that evening after getting off the train at 42nd Street. The encounter occurred just a few days after temperatures in the city dropped to blistering lows.

Lazar Nolasco, a passenger on the Brooklyn-bound A train, filmed the act of kindness. The person who took the video recalls the Good Samaritan asking the man if he needed to go to the hospital. Mr Nolasco told the New York Daily News the elderly man, who was sitting alone, didn’t have a shirt on and his “body looked sick.”
