Two 16-year-old girls have been charged after an alleged stabbing at a Gold Coast shopping centre last night.
Police were called to Robina Town Centre at 7.45pm after reports of a fight between a group of girls.
When they arrived, two girls had stab wounds and were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The first girl has been charged with one count each of wounding and going armed to cause fear.
The second girl has been charged with one count each of wounding, possession of a knife in a public place and obstruct police.
Both teenagers will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
