The U.S. Army of Occupation, in a nation of less than 15 million females of mature age, was provided with 50 million condoms a month to ‘teach the Germans Christianity.’ In a report from Frankfurt, Lee Hills of the Chicago Daily News Foreign Service on August 8 1946:

The North African or Middle Eastern beneficiary pockets €700 resettlement allowance. He or she now has access to a score of ongoing benefits and receives their new German passport.
This passport entitles him or her to travel and live anywhere in the European Union just as a naturalized German or Italian might. It gets worse: Ali Mahmud, for instance, pockets the money and tosses his new passport into the bin. He then moves to another German town or city and repeats the process ~ and so on. Welcome to Germany, not 1945 but 2016.
