The revival will allow Iranian nationals to visit Georgia for tourism and trade without needing a visa for 45 days. This is a unilateral measure by Georgia and was informed to Mr. Abbas Talebi, Iran’s ambassador to Georgia by country’s deputy-foreign minister for regional and political affairs. It will go effective on Monday February 15, the statement said. The revival also will improve tourism and trade between citizens of both countries to the level before unilateral cancellation of the scheme on June 2013 by Georgia.
