A mum and her three young children have been taken to hospital after their home burned down in northwestern NSW.
Emergency services were called to the single storey fibro cottage, with a tin roof, in Ugoa Street, Narrabri just after 2.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday.
The building was destroyed but the three children and mother inside escaped.
They were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Emergency services were unable to clarify their ages.
Early investigations suggest one of the children may have sparked the blaze while playing with matches in a rear bedroom.
Firefighters prevented the blaze spreading to neighbouring properties.
