Why are the laws the same for someone with an old 4×4 vehicle that has a bull bar with mounted fog lights, and a new 4×4 that has factory mounted fog lights inserted in the front spoiler.
Firstly, the new vehicle with factory fog lights inserted into front spoiler are pointed to the ground… unlike the old style vehicles that owners mounted, and are generally pointed straight in the air, and usually blinds oncoming drivers.
Some people including Highway Patrol Police officers still think that new vehicles with fog lights are illegal and can blind other drivers… as I said, this is not the case as they point to the ground like normal headlights… Just because you are seeing 4 headlights as opposed to 2 headlights in front of you, does not mean they are pointing in your face… it is an optical illusion.
To all those that still think this law still should apply to new vehicles, should grow a brain!
