Fog at Sydney airport has caused delays and forced international flights to divert to Brisbane and Melbourne.
Travellers are being urged to check with individual airlines for information about their flights on Wednesday morning.
A spokeswoman for the airport said 12 international flights had been diverted so far.
“Full operations will resume as soon as the fog lifts but there will be consequential delays as flight schedules progressively return to normal,” she said in a statement.
Airport authorities said domestic flights had been delayed for between ten minutes and half an hour.
The fog is expected to lift by about 9am.
Sydney Ferries were also affected, with one early run cancelled to Cabarita.
A spokeswoman told AAP some services were experiencing delays and were likely to run behind schedule until the fog lifted.
