According to a statement released by the official media, over 650 homes were ravaged by the flood and nearly 3,870 others had gone under flood waters.
The statement also added that the heavy rainfalls destroyed most roads and a host of bridges across the country.
Since last Wednesday, the downpours coupled with the occurrence of a typhoon caused people troubles.
Authorities have also issued evacuation orders in disaster hit areas.
