Five people have been arrested after a police chase through Brisbane streets.
Police tracked a stolen white four-wheel drive through the city’s southern suburbs for two hours on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle was one of two stolen from a property at Westlake.
The chase began in Inala about 3.30pm (AEST) and ended when the offender drove into an undercover carpark at nearby Mount Ommaney Shopping Centre.
Media helicopters had been following the vehicle and relaying its location to police.
It travelled through several Brisbane suburbs including inner-city West End, before tracking back towards the city’s southwest.
A police spokeswoman told AAP three men from the white stolen vehicle had been arrested.
Two others who were in the vehicle were assisting police with their investigation, she said.
Two other men who were caught in a second vehicle, a black BMW, were also arrested.
The spokeswoman said charges were yet to be laid.
