Police are concerned about the welfare of two young children who are missing following a domestic incident in the Perth suburb of Wilson.

Their father, Jake McNally, confronted his de facto partner and the childrens’ mother, at Langham Gardens.

The woman and her brother, who was there, both received minor injuries when Mr McNally allegedly wielded a machete.

The 15-month-old boy was also injured but police believe this was accidental.

His partner then took their son, along with their two-month-old baby daughter, to a doctors’ practice in Victoria Park for treatment.

Police say Mr McNally allegedly assaulted her again at the practice and took the children and her car.

The 25-year-old father is described as Caucasian with black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing red shorts and a white shirt.

Police say he has threatened to harm the children.

Acting Inspector Chris Adams is appealing to Mr McNally to turn himself in.

“Police would like to make a public call to Jake to let police know that the two children are OK and also if he could simply go to the nearest police station and hand himself in to police,” he said.
