A 32-year-old man and his four-year-old son are in hospital suffering from burns after a house in Perth was destroyed by an explosion.
Inspector Neil Blair said the fire was caused by “some items in the house” and detectives from the Organised Crime squad were attending to see if the blaze was suspicious.
The explosion in the house at Lilac Pass occurred at about 3.50pm (WST) and there is speculation that it may have been caused by drug manufacturing equipment.
WA News reported that one neighbour rushed the injured pair into her house and put them in a bath of cold water.
