A FAMILY of four escaped injury when their home was sprayed with bullets in Sydney’s south last night.
Two children, aged nine and ten, were inside a house with their parents on Princes Street, Bexley when a number of bullets where fired into the residence after midnight.
One bullet travelled through a window, but police are yet to confirm the exact number of shots.
Witnesses believe they heard a car speeding from the street shortly after the incident, but they were unable to provide a description of the vehicle.
Several bullet casings were found at the scene.
Police investigations will continue today with the assistance of officers from Operation Spartan.
