Seven Iranian personnel of Jondar Power Station in the Syrian city of Homs were kidnapped about three months ago and there is no news about their fate.
Iranians experts Ahmad Sohrabi, Majid Qanbari, Hassan Hassani, Sajjad Amirian, and Kiomars Qobadi were the first five people kidnapped in Homs.
Two other engineers Pejman Boveyri and Abdolkhaleq Sahne, who went to find their colleagues in Homs, were also abducted.
The families of the engineers asked the government to contact Syrian officials for their release.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011.
Damascus says “outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups” are responsible for the unrest, which is being orchestrated from abroad.
