Tehran, May 10, IRNA – Chancellor of University of Tehran Medical Sciences said on Tuesday that European states are interested to establish ties with the Iranian universities, citing the visit of Swedish academic team to Iranian universities.
Ali Jafarian said after a meeting with the envoy and senior advisor to Swedish minister for enterprise and innovation that the delegation from Sweden is exploring the opportunities to develop cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The European countries know well that scientific capacities of the Iranian universities are high and competent individuals are working in the high education centers, he said.
Referring to the competitive atmosphere in the research studies and education in the international scene, Jafarian said that the European countries are trying to attract the top scientists and students.
Senior advisor to the minister of enterprise and innovation conferred with Jafarian to identify cooperation capacities and scientific exchanges between University of Tehran Medical Sciences and Sweden universities.
