EMC has today announced that company veteran Alister Dias will step up as the new regional manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Dias will replace David Webster, who has been promoted to the company’s president for EMC Asia Pacific and Japan.
Dias has been with EMC for 12 years, starting out in account director roles before becoming the New Zealand country manager. Most recently, Dias held the role of regional general manager.
The announcement comes mere hours after the company made the global announcement that VMware CEO Paul Martiz will step down to become EMC’s chief strategist, while EMC’s chief operating officer Pat Gelsinger will become VMware’s new CEO.
