Elvis fans to take over Central Station

Morning commuters will be all shook up when they are greeted by a horde of Elvis and Priscilla Presley look-alikes at Sydney’s Central Station.

Fans will prove that the King is not dead on their way on Friday to the annual CountryLink Parkes Elvis Festival aboard the Elvis Express.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Elvis train, which will depart Sydney for the Elvis capital of Australia, Parkes, at 9.23am (AEDT).

Elvis-inspired entertainment on the main concourse of Central Station will take place from 8.30am (AEDT) and a red carpet and balloon arch commemorating the train’s 10-year anniversary will lead customers to the Elvis Express.

Nearly 400 Elvis fans will then be treated to entertainment throughout their journey.
