Tehran, Dec 1, IRNA – In a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Vice-President and Head of the Department of Environment Massoumeh Ebtekar called for continuation of cooperation between Iran and Germany in the area of environment.
The meeting is held on the sidelines of the Paris 2015 UN Climate Change Conference ; the twenty-first session of the Conference of Parties (COP 21) and eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP11)) on November 30 to December 11 in the French capital.
During the meeting, the German chancellor hoped Tehran and Berlin would widen relations after upcoming removal of sanctions.
Ebtekar left Teharn for Paris on November 29 to represent Iran in Paris Climate Conference.
