This world is a school.
The soul comes here to learn.
We learn by screwing up.
Or we should learn from screwing up.
If we keep screwing up the same way again and again, then we are not learning from our screw ups.
Each life, even though it was your soul, your spirit possessing the body used for that life, belongs to that class, that time, that life.
All we bring with us to a new life should be the lessons learned from screwing up in past lives.
That is so we do not screw up in the same way again, so as to repeat the same lessons.
A new life is for new lessons.
What one did in former lives should stay in that former time.
One does not start with a clean page in the new life otherwise.
Whatever wealth one accumulates, whatever prestige one garners, whatever fame or acylates one achieves, stays on that page, with that life.
All one brings with them are lessons learned.
I have read biographies of many of my former lives, not to rehash that life, not looking for former glory, but to look for weaknesses in my charter, being too trusting of certain types, recapping failures to gleam lessons learned.
I know where several of my tombs and graves are.
Never have visited even one.
Those bodies belong to their times.
Their lessons learned from their screw ups belong to me.
If you can be the same person you were in your last life, then you did not grow spiritually, you did not learn the lessons from that life’s screw ups.
A life is a terrible thing to waste.
Embrace your screwups.
Stand up, own your actions, be man enough or women enough to eat down the shit you did.
May taste like shit, may not be pleasant owning your mistakes, but it is better than wasting a life and repeating the same screwups in the next life.
The past is the past.
The future can only be determined by the present.
What you do right now, in the present determines your future.
