The collection, entitled Wet Dog, displays some 20 paintings about the abandoned Iranian village of Maar near the city of Ardestan in Isfahan Province.
The village’s living conditions, duality of life and water shortage are depicted in Sajjadi’s artworks.
The 34-year-old artist was recognized internationally in 2008 as he joined the group exhibitions in the Carbon 12 gallery, along with the world’s renowned painters like Michael Sailstorfer, Erwin Olaf, Rui Chafes.
The Dubai gallery also held Sajjadi’s first solo exhibition, Between a rock and a hard place in January 2010, which was well received by fellow artists and art lovers.
The exhibition kicked off on June 17 and is scheduled to run until September 10, 2012.
