A man believed to be carrying three kilograms of the drug ice has been nabbed by police after he was spotted driving erratically in southern NSW.
The man was travelling along the Hume Highway at Gunning about 9.45pm (AEST) on Friday when he was pulled over by officers concerned about the way he was driving, police said.
The officers soon became suspicious of the 32-year-old and called the Goulburn Drug Unit, police said.
A search of the car uncovered a package containing more than three kilograms of what is believed to be methylamphetamine or “ice”, with an estimated street value of more than $750,000.
The man from Randwick in Sydney’s east has been charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and is due to appear in Goulburn Local Court on Saturday.
