A rap video shoot that incorporated violent props and dramatized a criminal act ended in actual gunfire over the weekend, when cops called to the scene drew their weapons and fired on the set.
Police were contacted about an armed robbery going down on the West Side of Detroit on Saturday evening, June 10. The report detailed a couple of men seen traveling in a black jeep it was believed was being used in the alleged crime, and when officers arrived the video shoot was still in progress. A recording taken during the shoot captures the moment actors in the video hop out of the jeep and scramble over to an Aston Martin they were making out they were about to carjack. That’s when three rounds went off, causing panic and near tragedy.
Thankfully nobody was hurt in the shooting. Three men were arrested for failure to provide a permit for the shoot.
