A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder in Melbourne’s southeast.
The body of a 42-year-old man was found at a house in Springvale at 5am on Saturday when an ambulance was called to the address.
Police spokesperson Belinda Batty said Police believe the body was taken across Melbourne.
“The Springvale man was allegedly killed at Bundoora in Melbourne’s north and his body was transported more than 30km to a house in Springvale,” she said.
Homicide squad detectives charged Damien Van Zoelen of Springvale with one count of murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates court on Monday.
