NEW YORK (AP) — In a July 18 story about the Intrepid Sea, Air Space Museum‘s new Space Shuttle Pavilion, The Associated Press erroneously reported that, during tests that started in 1977, the Enterprise would separate from a 747 carrier aircraft after reaching an altitude of hundreds of thousands of feet. The separation occurred at an altitude of between 19,000 and 26,000 feet.
