A former Indonesian justice minister has reportedly lodged a court challenge against Schapelle Corby’s sentence reduction.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has cut five years from Corby’s 20-year sentence for drug trafficking after her appeal for clemency.
Former justice minister Yusril Mahendra on Thursday lodged a challenge on behalf of an anti-drugs group, the ABC reports.
Mahendra believes the president’s decision undermines Indonesia’s fight against drugs.
