Coca-Cola Drinkers… An Eye-Opening Infographic Reveals the Extensive Internal Organ Destruction Caused by Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola-Honest-Logo

The Coca-Cola logo is commonplace and well-established; the slanted
white lettering on a red background is recognized by virtually everyone
around the globe. However, a Nicaraguan graphic designer by the name of
Fabio Pantoja is changing things up, and not in ways that would please
the soda giant.
~ Jennifer Lea Reynolds – Infographic

In an effort to visually convey the health harms that Coca-Cola
unleashes on the body, he created an unexpected twist on the otherwise
simple, lighthearted logo.

His shocking infographic incorporates the various body parts that the
soda destroys right in with the lettering; for example, there is an
eyeball dangling from either end of the “C” and a heart makes up the
second “A.”

Take a look at his dark, yet truthful, demonstration of how drinking Coca-Cola is anything but healthy(1):

Soda is “poison”

Spot on, isn’t’ it? He gave the happy-go-lucky brand a well-deserved
slap in the face by conveying that it isn’t all fun and games (oh, and
how can we forget, profit). There are several serious health problems
caused by drinking soda; even Pantoja, who considered himself an avid
fan of the drink, now says he’s seen the light.

On Behance.net,
a site where creative professionals showcase their online portfolio –
as Pantoja did in this particular instance – he wrote, “More than a
critic[ism] to CocaCola, it’s a critic[ism] to myself, to see if I can
finally stop drinking this poison once and for all!”(2)

How drinking soda destroys your body…

Heart problems
According to a study published in Circulation, the journal of the American Heart Association, it’s been found that drinking soda
is associated with an increased risk of developing heart disease. The
more you drink, the more you increase your odds of cardiovascular
problems down the road. And diet sodas are just as harmful; everything
from stroke and fatal heart attacks are linked to excessive consumption
of diet sodas.(3,4)

Vision issues
It’s been noted that, in patients with Multiple Sclerosis, when they
stopped drinking diet soda, problems with their vision and even their
hearing improved. The artificial sweeteners which are used in these
zero- or low-calorie drinks offer no nutritional value and have been
linked to everything from altering eye health to causing memory loss.(5)

Bad for bones
Research has shown that drinking both regular soda and diet soda
increases the chances of developing osteoporosis. Soda consumption has
been found to diminish women’s bone mineral density, especially in their
hips.(4)

Destroys your stomach

Drinking soda can irritate your stomach to the point of creating or
worsening ulcers. It can also lead to esophageal problems in which
phosphoric acid rises in the stomach and produces discomfort typically
known as acid reflux or heartburn. All of the wear and tear to your
stomach lining and esophagus is damaging and can put you that much
closer to developing related cancers.(6)

Destroys skin

Too much soda is known to prevent skin from maintaining its supple texture. It dries it out, clogs pores and alters skin’s natural
moisturizing oils so that they don’t work properly. Rather than having
soft, healthy skin, skin takes on an aged, unhealthy appearance.(7)

Leads to obesity, diabetes
Soda – both diet and regular – are known to lead to obesity, which of
course is one factor behind developing diabetes. Regular sodas are
brimming with sugar, while diet sodas contain artificial sweeteners
which have been shown to increase appetites, rather than keep them at
bay, and lead to overeating.(8,9)

We applaud Pantoja’s eye-opening design. His design tells it like it
is: Drinking soda eats at your insides, destroys your body and unleashes
chaos on your organs. Avoid soda at all costs!

What Chemicals are Really in Coca-Cola’s Coke Soda?

Perhaps you already know that the Coca-Cola Co. has committed atrocious ground-water polluting in
other countries, along with creating water shortages. You probably know
as well that the company is turning providing the mass population with
toxic beverage choices. ~ Christine Sarich

After reading this quick, informative article,
you will understand exactly what you are putting into your body, and
this just might make it easier to break the Coke-drinking habit.

Here’s what’s really in Coca-Cola’s famous Coke soda:

  • Carbonated tap water – Whatever is in unfiltered municipal
water is also in your Coke. The carbonation that is added increases
gastric secretions and can make you flatulent. Here is what your tap water looks like, by the way.
  • E150D – This is a food coloring, which is made from processing sugar at certain temperatures. Ammonium sulfate is then added (also a constituent of Round Up Ready Chemicals used by Monsanto). This chemical has been known to increase asthma attacks.
  • E952 – This is a sugar substitute. It is 200 times sweeter than sugar and can cause your glycemic levels to sky-rocket. This can lead to diabetes, obesity and other diseases.
  • E950 – This is Acesulfame Potassium, and it aggravates the heart, vascular system, and nervous system. It is especially bad for children and pregnant women.
  • E951 – Aspartame – GMO product which can cause seriously negative impact on your body. Symptoms of aspartame poisoning include:
unconsciousness, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, palpitation,
weight gain, irritability, anxiety, memory loss, blurry vision,
fainting, joint pains, depression, infertility, hearing loss and more.
Aspartame can also provoke the following diseases: brain tumors, MS
(Multiple Sclerosis), epilepsy, Graves’ disease, chronic fatigue,
Alzheimer’s, diabetes, mental deficiency and tuberculosis. Later, this
substance was initially illegal due to its dangers but was again made
    legal in a suspicious manner.
  • E338 – Orthophosphoric Acid – This causes skin and eye irritation, and can interfere with your body’s ability to absorb calcium, causing osteoporosis.
  • E330 – Citric Acid – This is
preservative that is also used in the medical field for preserving
blood. In small doses it is fine, but in large doses it can eat away at
    your stomach and esophageal lining.
  • Aromas – Unknown aromatic additives.
  • E211 – Sodium Benzoate – According to a study completed by Peter Piper at the Sheffield University in Britain, sodium benzoate can harm DNA.

So would you really want to put this in your body on a daily, weekly,
or even monthly basis? The drink is full of chemical toxins that you
really don’t need. Consider drinking more purified water and freshly
squeezed juices instead. Source

  1. American Beverage Association , ABA Communications says:

Infographics like this one are designed to create a culture of fear around a product. Take a step back, though, and you’ll find regulatory agencies around the globe approve these products, and they do so based on credible science that demonstrates their safety. For example, let’s look at aspartame, which is wrongly maligned here. More than 100 regulatory agencies around the globe approve this ingredient, and the latest research from the European Food Safety Authority, among others, makes clear the Internet myths about this product simply are not true. The same goes with regard to the other issues listed here. Science does not at all concur with these strident claims. Let’s not lose track of the fact that soda is safe. These beverages are a relatively small part of the American diet and a source of calories that can be enjoyed in balance with others.
