Nintendo’s official website has confirmed the release of a new downloadable title on the Nintendo 3DS. This title is “Coaster Creator 3D” and was released on this day, Feb. 28, 2013. The price of the download is $9.99.
“Coaster Creator 3D” is a game where players are able to create roller coasters, similar to the “Roller Coaster Tycoon” series. Players have many options to work with, including different types of carts and tracks. The player is able to use the touch screen to make and edit the track. As the player advances through the career mode, they will unlock new features, such as different locales to place the tracks in and decals to place on the roller coaster carts. This title also pulls in the Mii characters that are stored on the player’s Nintendo 3DS. The Mii characters will ride the player’s roller coaster when the player has completed it. Also, players will be able to share their roller coasters with other players using QR codes. The player can also use the 3D functions of the Nintendo 3DS to view their roller coaster in 3D.
