Don Cherry has found a new outlet for his observations on the sport of hockey — Twitter.
The 78-year-old commentator on Hockey Night in Canada‘s Coach‘s Corner announced on Thursday that he had joined the social media site.
Cherry made the announcement during an interview with fellow CBC personality George Stroumboulopoulos.
His Twitter handle — @CoachsCornerCBC — had yet to be verified as official by the website late Thursday and no tweets had been posted.
Despite this, the popular and controversial hockey commentator already had hundreds of followers by late Thursday.
