Climate Fact Of The Day – University Of Wisconsin Antarctica South Pole Station Sets New Record Low: -100.8°F

On June 11, 2012 the temperature at South Pole Station in Antarctica was -73.8°C/-100.8°F.

This broke the previous minimum temperature record of -73.3°C/-99.9°F set in 1966. SOURCE
