I love dogs. I hate any animal abuse. I just saw a picture of a dog being boiled alive. The fear and pain in his eyes was the worst thing I have ever seen. It made me cry and feel sick. I do not think dogs should be eaten, and they must not suffer such a slow painful death! I have been unable to get the picture of this poor dog out of my mind. I was told by the person who sent this picture they also saw a video. I have since googled Chinese and Koreans eating dogs and lots of pictures came up I did not look at. We must not buy things for our dogs from any country that does these things to its own dogs, maybe that will make them change their practices. Also when they care so little for dogs do they make a safe product? I see many postings on recalls or products that should have recalls because dogs got ill or died from products made in China.

Stop cooking dogs alive! I understand this is a different culture. And you may choose to eat things others would not, even our country has people that eat animals. But they must be treated humanely when raised and killed quickly. I would prefer a law banning eating dogs, but if this cannot be changed it MUST be illegal to skin or cook them alive. Our country of course does not make your laws, but…

I was asked what my intentions are since receiving 1000 signatures. There is power in numbers so I will keep collecting. I will be letting companies know the petition is started and when it is complete they will get a copy. I hope to get enough signatures to get newspapers, radio, and television involved in spreading the fact this horrible thing occurs and we must not send our money to countries that do this. And we will not give products to our own dogs made in these countries. I have been informed through this petition they also do this to cats. Thanks for signing the petition please continue to spread the word and educate the public and let companies know we want to buy products not made in these countries, until they stop this.

Dear Sir I am writing from New Zealand to ask that this inhumanity stop. This is not a cultural difference. Cooking dogs alive is torturing another life form. And these life forms think. They love. They get scared. And they deliberate. In other words they are sentient. And they have a central nervous system. Could you imagine what it would be like to be cooked alive? If an animal is food then it deserves respectful treatment and a very quick painless death. Torturing an animal does not improve the flavour. It simply devalues the life of the person doing the torturing. They cannot call themselves human after committing such an act of wanton hurt. Nothing on the planet should die like this! Nothing. Please stop this and make it illegal. And prosecute any and all that do such shameful things. An evolved human should have compassion and pity. All animals are sentient beings. They can feel pain, sadness, hapiness,etc. Anybody who abuses animals is a souless bastard. Please people DON´T buy products or services made in China, Korea or South East Asia. I thank God that I am avegetarian and I love animals
