As the United States and China are racing to resume sending astronauts to the moon, NASA administrator Bill Nelson has warned about the regime’s ambitions as Beijing sets to establish a permanent presence on the lunar surface.
“It is true that we better watch out that they don’t get to a place on the moon under the guise of scientific research. And it is not beyond the realm of possibility that they say, ‘Keep out, we’re here, this is our territory,” Nelson said in an interview with POLITICO published on Jan. 1.
He pointed to China’s actions in the South China Sea, a contested region where the communist regime has unlawfully constructed a network of artificial islands with military installations…. Source
