A 52-year-old man currently jailed in Western Australia for child sex offences kept a “trophy chart” of his victims, police allege.
The unnamed prisoner was charged on Tuesday with a further 17 child sex offences in relation to alleged incidents between May 1993 and December 1994.
Police say the man had a sexual relationship with a victim who was 13 at the time of the alleged offences.
The man is already serving a prison term for sex offences relating to another child, and police have told AAP the new charges aren’t related to the first victim.
They said the man kept a “trophy chart” of his activities, including details of his victims’ ages and locations where alleged offences occurred.
He has been charged with seven counts of sexually penetrating a child under 16, seven counts of indecent dealing of a child under 16, one count of showing a child offensive material, one count of indecently recording a child, and one count of stealing.
He will appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 20.
