Sydney’s The Star casino must provide a formal explanation by Monday afternoon about what led to the sacking of its former CEO.
The casino’s parent company Echo Entertainment said last Thursday that Sid Vaikunta had left the company because of his behaviour “in a social work setting”.
A spokesman for the casino authority said it had requested a submission from the casino by 1pm (AEDT) on Monday.
“It’s meant to explain the departure of the former CEO,” he told AAP.
The Casino Control Authority is responsible for granting the casino its licence.
