Cars torched, damaged at Qld dealership

More than 40 cars at a dealership south of Brisbane have been damaged, with some set on fire.

Four cars were found on fire at the caryard adjacent to the Pacific Highway at Slacks Creek about 8.45pm (AEST) on Sunday, police say.

Two were found in bushland at the rear of the compound.

More than 40 other vehicles had sustained varying degrees of damage, police say.

Police guarded the scene overnight and forensic officers will examine the scene on Monday.
