Car sprayed with bullets north of Brisbane

Bullets have been sprayed at a parked vehicle at a house north of Brisbane.

Queensland police say residents were in the home at the time but they believe no attempt was made to fire at the house and no one was hurt.

The shooting took place at Burpengary about 7.30pm (AEST) on Sunday.

The vehicle, parked in the driveway of a Teatree Court home, was damaged by shots fired from a small calibre rifle.

Police believe the shooting was linked to a dispute with no bikie involvement.
