Bulgarian investigators have sent DNA samples of the bomber to the FBI to see
if they match any taken from Guantánamo Bay prisoners, and have also taken
samples from the Varna hotel in an attempt to put a name to the killer.

CCTV footage of the alleged bomber shows a European-looking man wearing
tourist clothes, and sporting long hair, which may have been a wig.

The coroner tasked with examining what little remains of the bomber, meanwhile
said that it was “almost miraculous” he had only killed six people.

“Could you imagine if this happened in the arrivals hall? There would have
been many more people killed,” said Galina Mileva. It was also fortunate
that the bus was not fuller, she added.
