British MP: Military Attack worsens situation in Syria

Palestinian Fatah al-Intifada: Ready to defend Syria against US military strike.

While the Palestinian Fatah al-Intifada (Fatah Uprising) Movement has strongly underlined that it is ready to defend Syria in case of a military attack by the United States against the Arab country, a MP in Britain stated that any US-led military strike against Syria will only worsen the situation in the country and deteriorate the conditions for the Syrian people.

The British Liberal Democrat Legislator, David Ward, said in a new interview that he is strongly opposed to the use of military force against Syria and warned that a US-led military intervention and the use of any military option against the Syrian government in Damascus will only deteriorate the situation in the Arab country.

David Ward, a British politician and member of the parliament, stated in his new interview with the FarsNews agency that he is against any military action on Syria as a “humanitarian response” to the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government near Damascus in last week. Ward further pointed out that he believes that the strength of the West in terms of the Syrian conflict lies in the option to bring all sides that are involved in the Syrian conflict and important to solve the crisis in Syria to the negotiation table.

The British Liberal Democrat Legislator David Ward also underlined in his new interview from Saturday, that any use of foreign military forces against Syria will only deteriorate the situation in the Arab country and could have dire consequences for the Syrian people and even for the entire region in the Middle East.

The British parliamentarian David Ward also said in this interview that he was glad to see that the UK parliament voted against a military strike on Damascus and that the supporters and backers of a military intervention into Syria failed in the British parliament.

Ward said that no one likes to see the “horrible images (that are) constantly coming out from Syria” but that a military response only has the effect to worsen the Situation for the people in the Arab country. David Ward also said that while the supporters of a military invasion into Syria in the parliament of Britain have failed, the real work has now begun and that all have to redouble their efforts in order to create a political and diplomatic solution for the Syrian conflict.

In the meantime, the Palestinian Fatah al-Intifada (Fatah Uprising) Movement made some new statements in terms of Syria and also in direction of the U.S. administration in Washington, of course.

Yasser al-Masri, the head of the Information Dissemination Centre of the Fatah al-Intifada in the Syrian capital Damascus, said in new remarks that the Fatah Uprising Movement is ready to defend Syria and to make use of all its capabilities to protect the Muslim country against any kind of a foreign aggression. Al-Masri also added that any aggression against any country or a partner in the resistance is regarded by the Palestinian Fatah al-Intifada Movement as “an aggression against all noble Arabs.”

He underlined in his new remarks that it is, under such conditions, the duty of the Movement to confront the United States and the Israeli occupiers as well as all their allies and proxies in a single front.

Further, some Palestinian resistance movements from Syria have already announced in the recent days that after Syria has openly welcomed and hosted the refugees from Palestine and the Palestinian movements, that they now “feel duty-bound to defend the Syrian soil and people” against any foreign aggression.

Yasser al-Masri, who runs the Information Dissemination Centre of the Fatah al-Intifada in the Syrian capital Damascus, further stated in his new interview with Farsnews that “since the United States and Israel are enemies of the axis of resistance,” the protection against their war of aggression on Syria and also the attack on them will be “a natural move for any resistance movement.”

Especially in Syria because this country is the frontline of all the countries which belong and form the axis of resistance, according to Yasser al-Masri. He said also that the axis of resistance has the duty to prepare themselves for any aggression by the United States and the West.

Already some days ago, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has pointed out in new remarks that the resistance movements and the Syrian nation are ready to confront and respond to any kind of a potential military attack against Syria by Washington and/or other Western military forces. The statement by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has also reiterated the preparedness for the “worst and most dangerous scenarios” that could happen as a result of a potential military strike against Syria by US-led forces.

The Information Dissemination Director of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Damascus, Mr Anwar Raja, said in an interview with Farsnews that the “Islamic resistance and Syria have prepared themselves for the most dangerous options.” However, it is questionable which specific dangerous options are meant.

The  Information Dissemination Director of the PFLP also pointed out that the resistance movements from Lebanon and Palestine as well as the Palestinian resistance movements in other countries are ready to confront possible aggressions by foreign powers in the Middle East and that the both Islamic resistance movements, the Palestinian as well as the Lebanese resistance movements, are fully capable and prepared to “carry out the necessary missions” in case the West will launch a military attack and war against Syria.
