A brazen attack on two young women on Sydney’s Parramatta Rd has been caught on CCTV.
The two women were walking along Parramatta Rd in Stanmore at 3am on Monday when a 15-year-old boy leapt from a stolen car.
He can be seen running up behind the women and grabbing one of their handbags but the victims did not give up easily.
Both women hit the ground in an attempt to keep the bag but eventually let go.
The bag only contained a few dollars, a digital camera and personal belongings.
The 15-year-old, who has been known to police since he was 12, was arrested.
