Falsely accused of being responsible for the Boston attacks, a young Indian student, Sunil Tripathi, was found dead in a Rhode Island river.
Designated as a suspect by the FindBostonBombers forum (Reddit.com), he disappeared from his university the next day.
Administrators of the website publicly apologized for the online witch-hunt as soon as the FBI identified the Tsarnaev brothers as the guilty parties.
