BMW stolen in Melbourne knife attack

A Melbourne man has been punched in the head and threatened with a knife by a robber who stole his BMW.

The 21-year-old man was outside his car smoking a cigarette near a milk bar in suburban Scoresby when he was attacked about 11pm (AEDT) on Sunday.

The man was about 20 metres from the Berrabri Drive milk bar when the offender pulled up beside him in a blue Commodore and punched him in the head.

When the man tried to get up, the offender threatened him with a knife and stole his car.

The vehicle was a 2002 model BMW sedan, registration RJF611. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
