Thousands of people have expressed a desire to see Justin Bieber get punched in the face. Today, they get their wish.
A bloodied Bieber flexes his acting chops in “As Long As You Love Me,” his music video that dropped Wednesday morning.
Reservoir Dogs actor Michael Madsen, who plays the father of Bieber’s love interest, punches Bieber at 4:29 and hits him again at 4:35, 4:40, 5:01, 5:03, 5:17, 5:20 and 5:30.
Director Anthony Mandler foreshadows the altercation by showing a bruised Bieber before punches are thrown.
In the few hours since the video’s release, it has already racked up more than 65,000 Likes (and 2,900 Dislikes) on YouTube.
To put that in perspective, the 95-second sneak peek of this video has 48,000 Likes since Friday. And his previous music video, “Boyfriend,” has amassed 694,000 Likes since May 3.
