Naderi noted the delegation included representatives of the Parliament of Bangladesh and the Chamber of Commerce.
“Given that there is no university of technology in Bangladesh, the two sides discussed to set up a university in the country through the help and consultation with Iran’s Amirkabir University of Technology,” Naderi said.
Visiting the scientific and educational achievements of AUT, Bangladesh delegation also called for cooperation with Iran on satellite, medical engineering, etc, Naderi underlined.
He noted that Bangladesh officials are scheduled to have another visit to AUT and in addition to revisiting the university, sign a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian side.
Naderi said Iran is considered among the developed countries in Asia and could therefore use the capacity, potential and academic ability to work with other Asian countries.
