Prosecutors in Bali have detailed their case against an Australian man accused of attempting to smuggle hashish and methamphetamines into Bali.
A court in Denpasar was told Edward Norman Myatt was caught at the international airport after a customs officer became suspicious of him.
He was detained and taken for an x-ray, which revealed a large number of capsules in his stomach.
Immigration officials allegedly recovered more than 70 capsules containing over a kilogram of hashish and about 4.5 grams of methamphetamine.
The prosecutors allege Myatt had already confessed to buying the drugs from a British man in India.
Myatt could face the death penalty.
