Meanwhile, Bahraini regime forces attacked the houses of leading protesters in Salihiya and arrested dozens of people.
The regime forces also fired at anti-regime protesters at Bilad al-Qadim village.
On Saturday, several protesters were also injured when security forces fired tear gas and stun grenades in the village of Sitra.
The protesters in Sitra were rallying in support of prominent human rights activist Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, who has been on a hunger strike for more than three months.
The protesters shouted slogans against the ruling Al Khalifa monarchy and called for the release of al-Khawaja.
Al-Khawaja was given a life sentence in a military court in June 2011 over accusations of inciting protests against the Manama regime.
The UN rights council has called on the Bahraini government to release political prisoners.
The kingdom has been the scene of anti-regime demonstrations since February 2011.
