FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Lengthy rush-hour traffic jams blocked the way into Sydney’s CBD on Thursday morning after faulty concrete was laid in the Harbour Tunnel.
The southbound lanes of the tunnel were closed on Wednesday night for resurfacing work, Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) says.
The lanes were due to reopen at 5am, in time for morning peak-hour traffic.
But a bad batch of concrete used in the resurfacing didn’t dry in time, the RMS said.
“This was not discovered until just before 5am when the work area was swept clean,” an RMS spokesperson said.
The lanes couldn’t be reopened until 7am, when a steel plate was installed to cover the work.
RMS has met with Sydney Harbour Tunnel general manager Bob Allen.
Mr Allen has outlined steps to avoid the problem happening again, an RMS spokesperson said.
“This problem with faulty concrete has not happened before, and the operators have assured RMS they will have better contingencies in place for future work to identify any potential issues at a much earlier stage.”
