Australian unemployment rate climbs to 5.7 per cent

ABC – Official figures show Australia’s unemployment rate has increased to 5.7 per cent.   The Australian Bureau of Statistics estimates show the rate climbed from an upwardly revised 5.6 per cent in May, to 5.7 per cent in June.  May’s figure was revised up from 5.5 per cent.  The result means the unemployment rate is now at its highest level since September 2009.  Read Article
