After a two -year hiatus due to the pandemic, the annual Greek – Serbian Cultural Friendship Day returns to Sydney, Australia with a rich programme of events to celebrate the deep relations between the Serbian and Greek communities.
The Serbian Orthodox Church-Parish and School Community of “St Archdeacon Stephen”, Rooty Hill, Sydney, invites Greek and Serbian communities, families and friends to the “29th Annual Greek-Serbian Orthodox & Cultural Friendship Day” on Sunday 18th September 2022.
The event will take place at the Serbian Orthodox Parish Hall of “St Stephen” 259 Hyatts rd (corner Woodstock ave) Plumpton/Rooty Hill, NSW.
The program will commence with the Christian Orthodox Holy Liturgy from 9.30am. From 12.00pm, there will be a wide range of hot foods and cold drinks for purchasing.
From 12.30pm until 4.00pm, a rich musical and dance program will take place with the presentation of Serbian and Greek dance groups to celebrate the strong historical, geographical, cultural, and religious bonds between Serbs and Greeks as well as dancing for all at the end of the day.
