THE first trailer for Margot Robbie’s big star turn opposite Leonardo DiCaprio was released yesterday _ and it’s done nothing to play down rumours of a relationship with the legendary ladies’ man.
A former Neighbours gal, Robbie plays DiCaprio’s saucy love interest Naomi Lapaglia in The Wolf Of Wall Street, a film by Martin Scorcese about the debauchery and white collar crimes of the stock business.
In one scene, The Great Gatsby star is crawling across the room towards Robbie, who places her stiletto on his face (pictured).
Much talk of a romance between the two was sparked during filming in New York last year.
The film, based on former broker Jordan Belfort’s best-selling memoir, tells of a stockbroker who refuses to co-operate in a investigation into corruption on Wall St.
In the trailer DiCaprio’s character says: “The year I turned 26, I made $49 million, which really pissed me off because it was just shy of $1 million a week.”
Rumours of things getting hot and heavy between Robbie and DiCaprio emerged last November – just a week after DiCaprios split from American Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton.
Robbie was seen cosying up to her leading man at a party in Las Vegas.
Witnesses told the New York Post that the pair “spent a lot of time at the party together”.
